Talmage "T.B." Lay

Talmage B. Lay, Jr., age 77, passed away on July 17, 2020 in Midland, Texas.

Talmage Lay, known to family and friends as T.B., was born in Stephenville, Texas to Bennie and Talmage Lay.

He was a member of the band and a graduate of Permian High School.  He received training in management development at the University of Notre Dame.  He was a trucking industry employee for Enterprise Transportation Company from 1972 to 1998, having started driving LP trucks, then progressing to dispatch, and then to management.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Minister Nathan Plagens officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

T.B. is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Lay; sisters, Billie Hampton and Martha Franklin; and brothers-in-law, Charles Tarver and Dwayne Humble.

T.B. is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pattie Lay; daughter, Jennifer Paiva, son-in-law, David and their daughter, Kambree; sisters, Melba Tarver, Wanda McKnight, Donna Humble, and Jimmie Sanders; brothers-in-law, Bobby Franklin and Phillip Sanders; and a family full of nieces and nephews.
