Steven Warden

Steven “Stevo” Lloyd Warden, age 27 of Presidio, TX (formerly of Hobbs, NM and Odessa, TX) was born July 27, 1993 in Hobbs, NM and passed away on December 21, 2020 in Presidio, TX from a motor vehicle accident.

He attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Hobbs, NM and graduated from Camp Shelby YCP in Hattiesburg, MS.  His passions included motorcycles, hunting, fishing and music.  Steven was known for being the “life of the paartey” and took his comedic sense of humor with him wherever he went.  Steven will be truly missed by those who had the honor and privilege of knowing him.  He may be gone but never forgotten!

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother Jennifer Warden and fiancé Allen Witherspoon (Odessa, TX), father Patrick Warden and wife Joy (Wiggins, MS), his pride and joy-sister Sierra Warden and partner Edgar Cardenas and nieces Sophia and Lauren (Midland, TX), girlfriend Joana Santos and her daughters Xzayliha and Rhazzilynn (Presidio, TX), his Paw Paw Lloyd Warden and wife Beverly (Carnes, MS), uncle Matt Warden and wife Melinda (Midland, TX), uncle Victor Warden and wife Veronica (Wiggins, MS), uncle Bryan Lawler and wife Liv (Las Vegas, NV), and aunt Janine Mead (Eldorado, AR).  There are numerous cousins that he left behind that were very special to him and played such an important role in his life.

He was preceded in death by his Maw Maw Debbie Warden, grandma Vicki Sullivan, uncle Lee Lawler, cousin Brandy Lawler, cousin Elijah Hicks, and his brother from another mother-Damen “D” Boney.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home located at 6801 E.
