Patricia Marlene Young, age 61, known as Pat to her friends and acquaintances, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2020 at ORMC Hospital in Odessa Texas.

Graveside Services are pending and will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, TX.

Patricia was born in Odessa, Texas to Edward Doy and Martha Dillard Young on October 14, 1959.  She attended John Ireland Elementary, Nimitz Junior High and then graduated in 1978 from Permian High School in Odessa.  She then attended several semesters at Odessa College studying Art.

She worked at several jobs in the Odessa area including Auto Zone for 19 years.  She finished her career as a driver for Family Promise of Odessa, a local charitable organization, serving homeless women and their children.

She enjoyed supporting the Jackalopes Hockey Team for several years.  She loved sketching, drawing and painting and was a very accomplished artist.  She attended New Life Church of Christ.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her brother, Ross E and his wife, Patti L Young of Odessa; three nephews, Edward Carter Young, Patrick Taylor Young and Everett Curtiss Young and his wife Lindsey Arthur Young of Gilbert, AZ and their two children, Brody and Charlotte; a sister, Martha Elena Wishert and her husband, Ray Wishert of Brownwood; an aunt, Janice Dillard Sims and her husband, Richard Sims of Lubbock; and numerous cousins in West Texas and North Central Texas.

Memorials may be given to family Promise of Odessa or New Life Church of Christ.  The family of Pat wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to Fresenius Kidney Care - Desert Milagro, Drs Anand Reddy, Sreedevi Goday and Tara Dever, Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Hospital.
