Michael Carrasco

Michael Joseph Carrasco, of Midland, TX, passed away on September 2, 2021 in Odessa, TX.

Michael was born in Pecos, TX on May 7, 1978, to Margie and Luis Carrasco. He attended Pecos High School and joined the United States Army right after graduating in 1996. He served honorably for 21 years, retiring as Staff Sergeant in 2017.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Carrasco and children, Kristen (31), David (25), Quentin (24), Biannca (21), Andy (16), Alonzo (12), Xavier (10), and Gianna (8); grandchildren, Aleks (15), Jaisen (9), Isaac (5), Nadia (4), Soulyn (1 mo.); parents, Luis and Debra Carrasco of Pecos, and Margie and Edmundo Lopez of Odessa of Odessa; sisters, Suzanne Guebara of Odessa and Jennifer Flores Barstow and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michael’s spirit was infectious, his laugh was contagious. He always gave and never asked for anything in return. His memory will live on in all who knew him.
