Mark Koehn

Mark Douglas Koehn, 67 of Odessa passed away on December 27, 2020 in Odessa, TX.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lynn Money of Sherwood Church of Christ officiating.

Mark was born in Hobbs, NM to Leo and Elizabeth Koehn on January 31, 1953.  He attended elementary school in Hobbs, middle school in Brazil and then high school and 1 year of college in Hobbs.  He met his wife at New Mexico Jr. College in Hobbs and married Linda on June 29, 1973 in Lovington, NM.  He worked as a warehouse for Rust Tractor in Hobbs, NM for 7 years and then moved to Odessa where he worked for AMF Tuboscope for about 10 years before his health became bad and he had to go on disability.

Mark was involved in benevolence with the church and served as a deacon for a number of years.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, an older brother, a sister and his beloved daughter Katherine.

Mark is survived by his wife Linda, a younger sister and two grandchildren: Zachary and Matthew.

The family of Mark wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our church family at Sherwood and to the doctors and nurses at ORMC that took care of Mark.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
