Leslie "Les" Terry, Jr.

Leslie Lofton Terry, Jr., of Odessa, Texas passed away on February 7, 2021 at his home in Odessa.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Les was born in Slaton, Texas to Leslie Lofton Terry, Sr., and Lonella Terry on May 5, 1942.  He was raised up on several ranches throughout his life in Texas.  He met Patsy Jo Brown in Odessa in 1958.  They married on November 26, 1960.  Les worked for a moving company and bought his own big truck hauling fuel all over Texas.  Then he went to work for Exxon as a pipeline welder, where he retired after 25 years.

He ran many trout lines throughout many lakes, catching several pounds of catfish, which he used to host countless fish-frys and shrimp broils for family and company functions for many years.  Les loved being in the mountains and RVing all over the United States and Canada.

Les is preceded in death by his mother, father, and granddaughter, Jennifer Rose Terry.

Les is survived by wife, Patsy Terry; son, James Terry and his wife Jeatonne Terry; grandchildren, Chris Terry and fiancé Shannon Devore, Mary Terry, and Kristy Terry; and fifteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Terry, Chris Terry, Preston Rodriguez, Nathan Rodriguez, David Brown, and Steve Brown.
