Marcelle Patterson, 54, of Odessa, passed away on June 23rd, 2022, in Odessa surrounded by her husband and children.

Kendra Marcelle Wallender was born in Monahans, TX to K. David and Linda Wallender on March 2nd, 1968.  She attended Permian High School.  She married Chad David Patterson on February 24th, 2006. Marcelle was a loving stay-at-home mother. She was compassionate, kind, and loyal to everyone she cared about. She was a giving and selfless soul - there wasn’t a person she wouldn’t help.  She especially loved spoiling her children and grandbabies.

Marcelle is preceded in death by her parents K. David Wallander and Linda Wallender.

Marcelle is survived by her husband, Chad Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Taryn and Nick Homfeld; son, Kaleb Walker; daughter, Kaitlyn Patterson; son-in-law, Jordan Homfeld; and grandchildren, Braylee and Bronson Homfeld.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 at 1pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Wallender, Cory Haynes, Steven Haynes, Jordan Homfeld, Andy Smith, and Jay Gray.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Hospital.
