Johnny "J.L." Bundick

San Tan Valley, AZ

Johnny Lee Bundick, 87 years old, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at his home in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

He was born in 1934 in Fieldton, TX to Oscar Lee Bundick and Mary Ola Carter Bundick.  He moved to Odessa, TX in 1960 to raise his family with his chosen profession, as a welder in the oil and gas industry.  In retirement, he moved to Ruidoso, NM, where he enjoyed hiking and wood carving.  He spent his last five years living in Arizona.  He will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and his storytelling.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his mother and father, and two brothers.

He is survived by his significant other, Sharon Condon; four children, Lee Charles and husband Blane, Terry Bundick and wife Maureen, Rodger Bundick and wife Janice, and Betty Littlejohn and husband Charley; eight grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The American Heart Association.
