Johnny Storz

Johnny Lee Storz Jr. was born in Star City, Arkansas on January 27, 1939. He was raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where he attended and graduated High School. He joined the army in 1958, and when he was discharged, he worked in Pine Bluff until he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and afterwards was called into the ministry. He then attended Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, Texas.

Later he met Edith Storz and married her on December 17, 1966. He spent time as an evangelist, serving the Lord, and pastored in five churches around Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas for 50+ years. He was a great preacher, Bible teacher, a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. Along with leading many lives to Christ.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edith Turner Storz; daughters, Cheryl Storz Dennis and husband Tony, and Jill Storz Stringer and husband, Scotty; son, John Storz III; grandchildren, Ashley Galvan and husband Steven, Kyle Stringer and wife Emerald, Aaron Dennis and wife Gabriela, and Steven Stringer and wife Ivy; great grandchildren, Oliver, Raeley, Keallan, and Emmanual; Sister, Cathy Johnson; Sister-in law, Catherine Storz and Ellen Storz, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Clara Storz; brothers, James and Carroll Storz, and his great-grandson Elijah Galvan.
