John Martinez

John Martinez, 74, of Lamesa, passed away on March 28, 2020.

The celebration of life will be postponed until further notice due to the current pandemic.

John was born on May 24, 1945 to Pascula Hernandes and Domingo Martinez in Lamesa, TX where he was raised and educated.  He married Rosa Vargas on November 4, 1963 in Lamesa.  He was a welder for 45 years and owned and operated J & A Welding for 20 of those years.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by Rosa Martinez; son Arnold Martinez and wife Olga; daughter Laura Martin and husband Billy; daughter Annette Moralez and husband Frankie; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Fred Martinez and Bonny Martinez; sisters Barbara Sandoval, Mary Martinez, Connie Garza, Gloria Gomez, Yvonne Alvarado and Olga Zapata.
