Jay Doyle

Jay Junior Doyle, 99, passed away on December 28, 2021, in Odessa, Texas.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 3, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Odessa, Texas.

Jay is survived by his wife of 78 years, Georgia Irene Doyle; two daughters, Shirley Ragan and husband Lee, and Quincy Cronenworth and husband Chuck; one grandson, Jarred Cronenworth and wife Jill; and his great-granddaughter, Lily.

Even though, Jay lived the majority of his life in Texas, he was an Oklahoma boy through and through.  He had “work caps,” but his “dress cap” was always the Oklahoma University maroon cap!  When you saw him put that on you knew he was ready to go!

Jay rarely showed his emotional side, but his actions showed how much he loved his family, his work, and his life.
