James Anthony Santa Maria, 58, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at his residence in Wink, Texas.

He had been battling cancer and liver disease for an extended time.

A memorial service to honor the life of James will be held at a later date.

James was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on April 6, 1962 to Tony Anthony Santa Maria and Karen Griswald.   He and his family moved to Texas when James was very young.  After school James worked very hard to master his craft as an electrician.  He worked in the oil and gas industry for PLC Construction, Inc. in Liberty, Texas for more than twenty years.  James always took pride in and strived for excellence in every project given to him.

James enjoyed fishing, golfing, and brotherhood with his Cossacks Motorcycle Club.

James is preceded in death by his father, Tony Anthony Santa Maria, his mother, Karen Griswald, and a younger brother, Mark Blake.

James is survived by his brother, Michael Blake and wife, Nadine of Pipe Creek, Texas and their children, Adam Edwards, Cody Blake, and Amber Blake; sister, Kathy Mansfield and husband, Billy of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and their children, John Blake and Derrick Avallone; brother, Tommy Blake and wife, Patti of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and their children, Drew Blake and Cole Blake; nieces, Tarren Cassey and Savannah Blake; brother, Mike Zombory and wife, Sheri of League City, Texas and their child, Nick Zombory; brother, Dan Zombory and wife, Candy of Friendswood, Texas and their children, John Zombory, Keri Zombory, and Brittney Zombory; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

The family of James A. Santa Maria wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all doctors, nurses, Hospice and friends for their services, prayers and condolences.
