Irma Tercero

March 6, 1967 — April 1, 2021

Odessa, Texas

Irma Tercero, 54, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2021.

Irma was born on March 6, 1967 in Candelaria, TX to José and María Baeza. On September 19, 1982, she married the love of her life, Luis Tercero, and they had three daughters- Marlyne, Marie, and Madeline.

She became the beloved "Nana" of her grandson Diego in 2008 and they shared a strong bond and love like no other. She was always a shining example of how to be kind and caring to everyone. She was an intelligent and hardworking woman who always did everything at 100%. Family always came first and above all else, a value that she instilled in everyone around her. She welcomed everyone into her home and loved cooking for her family and knew everyone's favorite dishes.

She loved God and wanted others to know him also and was always devout in praying and believing in him. Although she had a long hard battle with cancer, her joy for life and the love she had for her family kept her going. She fought it as hard as she could until the very end, never once giving up. Her courage and bravery in the face of her illness were always on display, and when asked how she felt she would always say "Great! I don’t have anything." She always saw the positive in everything, including in her illness.

You were a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We will love and miss you forever. Thank you for sharing your brightness and love with all of us and for giving us life. Thank you for always making us feel important to you and being the backbone of our family.
