Gabriel Gonzales

Gabriel Gonzales, 49, of Odessa passed away on November 21, 2020 in Odessa, TX.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 3:30 PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Deacon Bobby Wright officiating.   Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gonzales, Markus Rubalcado, Matt Irwin, and Josh Madison, Caleb Gordon, Eric Barragan, Carlos Ayala-Ortiz, and Roger Primera.

Gabriel was born in Pecos, TX to Pablo and the late Elisa Gonzales on March 10, 1971.  He went to Pecos High School.  Gabriel married Sonii Gonzales (Thorp) and spent 28 loving years with her raising three sons.

He worked as a security officer for the Department of Homeland Security for 18 years.

Gabriel is preceded in death by his mother, Elisa and sister, Norma Gonzales.

Gabriel is survived by his wife, Sonii Gonzales; his children, Michael, Jacob, and Nathan Gonzales; his father, Pablo Gonzales; stepmother, Elma Gonzales; grandchildren, Leanna and Gabrianna Gonzales; siblings, Harvey Gonzales and wife Kim, Tony Gonzales and wife Sonia, Raul Gonzales and wife Melissa, Danny Gonzales and wife Mari, Robert Gonzales and wife Desirae, Elizabeth Fierro and husband Victor, and Mary Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
