Danny Earl Cox went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021 at the age of 68. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children in his home.
Danny was born on February 8, 1953 in Odessa, Texas where he grew up in a family of four children, raised by his parents Cotton and Nell Cox. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1971 where he was a star baseball player and went on to start his career in the oil and gas industry. He later married Sherry Bell and remained in Odessa where they raised four children. With a strong work ethic, he continually climbed the professional ladder until ultimately retiring as the Plant Manager of Cameron Measurements in 2015.
Danny was a devoted husband and Christian man, enjoying life and creating wonderful memories with his family and friends. He was loved by all who knew him and went above and beyond to serve others.
