Daniel Marshall

Daniel Claudius Marshall, 71, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Daniel C. Marshall was born in Dayton, Ohio to Robert Marshall, Sr and Martha A. Creath on December 4, 1948.  He went to school at Permian High School.  Daniel married Sharon Watson on May 29, 1971 in Odessa, Texas.  He worked as a mechanic and later a machinist at Rig Works for 4 years.  Daniel was drafted out of high school and served in the army.  He was First Cavalry as a part of the Search and Destroy division under Gary Owens.  His awards were the bronze star, marksmanship metal and turned down the purple heart twice.

Daniel is preceded in death by Robert Marshall, Sr., Martha Marshall and Robert Marshall, Jr.

Daniel is survived by his wife Sharon Marshall, and daughters Shelley Heisler, Kelley Baker and son-in-law Larry Sanders, adopted daughter Lynda Ussery, brother Dusty Marshall, his wife Kathy and their daughter Juli Marshall; also, grandchildren, Victoria Baker, Thomas Sanders, Daniel Sanders, Cheyenne Sanders, and adopted grandchild Christian Ussery.
