The Glass Family

Gather 'round, folks, 'cause there's news from the trails that's weighin' heavy on our hearts. Randy Glass, a true soul of the wild, done passed on Sunday, May 5, 2024, right in the comfort of his own homestead. He was 67 winters young.

Now, Randy hailed from the heart of Odessa, TX, born on November 9, 1956. He hitched his wagon to his darlin' Susan Glass on November 29, 1980, and together they raised two fine young 'uns, Allison and Mark Glass. Randy, he had a fire in his belly for them Dallas Cowboys and never missed a hoot on the Longhorn Channel. And when it came to risk-takin', well, Oklahoma's gamblin' dens were his second home. But most of all, he treasured them family outings, especially when them grand-dogs Nala and Simba were waggin' along.

Work-wise, Randy was as rugged as they come. He wore more hats than a scarecrow in a windstorm - from roughneckin' to firefightin' and even slingin' goods with Sand Sales. Lately, he'd been diggin' deep with Aaron Hajobsky over at Permian Coating in Midland.

Randy's gone now, restin' easy with his kinfolk - Earnest and Almeida, Don, Linda, and Vicky. But he's left behind a legacy that'll outshine any gold nugget in them hills.

He's survived by his sweetheart, Susan, and their young 'uns, Allison and Mark, along with their partners, Justin and Heather. And let's not forget about his ol' pa-in-law, Ray Benton, over in Kerrville, TX, and a whole posse of kinfolk who'll remember him fondly.

In lieu of flowers, the Glass family kindly asks that you tip your hat to Randy's memory by lendin' a hand to a local animal shelter or a charity that tugs at your heartstrings.
