Wanda Eleane ( Blankinship) Reedy

Wanda was called home Tuesday May 19, 2026, at the age of 86.

Wanda was born to Oran and Ruby Blankinship on February 5, 1940, in Houston, Texas.

She was the second oldest of 8 children.

They moved to Odessa in 1957.

Wanda was one of the first graduates of Ector High School. She graduated at Mid Term in January 1958.

Wanda was married to Jess Reedy on July 16, 1959, in Odessa, Texas, they were married for 35 years, until his death, October 25, 1994. They had 3 children together: Clifford, Debra, and Jan.

In 1999 Wanda met Bennie Wickliffe, they were married May 31, 2000, they were married for 14 years, until his death, May 5, 2014.

Wanda had many Hobbies that including Crochet, Painting, Reading Books and doing Arts and Crafts.

Wanda loved Western Movies, especially John Wayne. Her favorite singer was Merle Haggard. Her favorite color was Purple, and she also loved Hummingbirds.

Wanda is survived by her Daughter; Jan Cagle, Son-in-law; Kai Holdeman; 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, her Best Friend: Marsha Highs and her daughter; Trina Hughes; Gloria Benavidez, her great friend who was like her Adopted Daughter; Paul and Lenora Fisher and her Step Daughter Teresa Sullivan.

Wanda was preceded in death by her Parents: Oran and Ruby, Brothers: Roy, Walter (Dub), Glen and Keith, Sisters: Carol, Ruby and Nancy. Daughter; Debra Holdeman Son; Clifford Reedy, Son-In-Law: Johnny Cagle, and Great Granddaughter; Zoey Reedy.

Visitation will be May 28th, from 6-8pm

Funeral Service will be May 19th at 10am

Pallbearers: Kai Holdeman, Todd Blankinship, Kenny Vardeman, Sean Fryou, Richard Humphrey, Jess Michael Reedy, and Paul Fisher.

The family would like to thank Gloria Benavidez for being a great friend (family) and loving caregiver, Madison Medical Resort, Nurses, and staff for their attentive care. We would also like to thank Anna Cavett (her roommate at Madison) for her wonderful friendship and love, and ALL her friends she made while living at Madison.
