Tyson Cooper Avery, an amazing husband, father, and GIFTED diesel mechanic, passed away in a tragic car accident on August 15, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on July 11,1993 in Preston ID, Tyson was a man whose talent, generosity, and love for his family left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Tyson’s expertise in diesel mechanics was unmatched. His reputation was built on an unwavering commitment to excellence. Every vehicle that came into his shop left running stronger, looking sharper, and better than it had ever been before. His meticulous craftsmanship earned him the trust of countless customers, all of whom knew they could count on him. 

Tyson was a man of immense generosity. He used his talents to help others whenever he could, often completing work without charge for those who needed it most, particularly widows and families going through tough times. His work was never just about the job; it was about giving back to the community and supporting those around him. 

Tyson's greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Rachael, and a loving father to their two daughters, Summer and Lexi. His love for them was boundless, and he dedicated his life to ensuring they felt cherished every single day. Tyson lived with a deep sense of purpose, knowing that family was the heart of everything he did. 

Tyson had a rare gift for teaching life’s lessons. He lead with confidence, firm guidance, and unwavering kindness. At A&P Performance, he worked side by side with his team, helping many grow into better versions of themselves. 

Tyson also had a unique passion for raising snakes, and at the time of his passing, he was the proud owner of 40. Each snake was cared for with the same precision and dedication that he gave to his family and work. His love began young, he often hid pet water snakes in his closet at home in Osgood. 

Throughout his life, Tyson held various positions and embraced many job opportunities, each reflecting his diverse skills and dedication. Bryan Reed Farms, Kelly Canyon, Vandersloot Farms, Avery Enterprizes, Avery Bakken Disposals, Gooseneck Implement, Bayou OFS, Rockpile, Eklipse, and was the Co-Owner with his wife of A&P Custom Performance. 

Tyson’s legacy is one of selflessness, love, and exceptional skill. He was the kind of person who made those around him better, whether through his hands, his heart, or his actions. Though his time with us was too short, his impact will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. 

Tyson is survived by his wife Rachael, daughters Summer and Lexi, his parents, Jeffrey & Stephanie (Cooper) Avery, Father-in-Law, Lance Douglas Perry, siblings Braxton (Jordyn) Avery, Tricely Avery, Tatiana Avery, Zachary (Samantha) Avery, Rylee Avery, Logan Avery, and Mariah Avery. Nieces and nephews, Grayson, Savannah, Rorie, Elliana, Kade, and a host of friends and community members who admired and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Merrill Avery. 

Texas services for Tyson will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025. The family will meet with friends and family from 9:00-10:45am with funeral to follow at 11:00. The service will be held at Odessa LDS church at 5401 John Ben Shepperd Pkwy, Odessa TX. 

Idaho services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The family will meet with friends and family, Tuesday, August 26th from 6:30-8:00pm and prior to the services from 9:00- 10:45am and services at 11:00am at Milo LDS church 12127 North 75th East, Idaho Falls. 

Interment will be at the Milo Cemetery, Idaho Falls, ID. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Frost Bank in TX, account # ending 526(under Stephanie Avery) or Citizen Community Bank in Idaho(any Glacier National Bank affiliates, account under Stephanie Avery) account # ending in 541.
