Tommy Harris

Tommy Wayne Harris Sr., 89, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, June 23, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Adoration East Garden. Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell will be officiating.

Tommy Wayne Harris was born in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Walter Harris and Millie Harris (Haywood). He married Sandra Katherine Griffin (Kay) on July 17, 1953. He worked and retired from Shell Refinery at Notrees, Texas. He is a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father; a sister, Anna Lee Lanyon; a son-in-law, Dewayne Elrod; a daughter, Judy Lightfoot; and his beautiful wife, Kay Harris.

Tommy Harris is survived by his son, Wayne Harris and wife Tonya; daughter, Janet Elrod; grandchildren, Trey Harris, Jana Elrod, Dewayne Elrod, Tiffany Taylor, and Tye Harris; great grandchildren, Tyler Harris, Abby Taylor, Devin Hogg, Shayla Elrod, and Cayden Elrod.

He will be missed and be forever loved.
