Tomasa Telles

Tomasa Telles, age 90, was born in Grandfalls, Texas on December 29, 1931, to Salome and Severa Porras. On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, she received her heavenly wings in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 7, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 2PM – 5 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 3:00 PM. Father joe will be the officiate.

She lived most of her years in Odessa, Texas. In December 1951 she married Joe Telles. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in the yard. She was happy spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tomasa is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Telles; her parents Salome and Severa Porras; her two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Rudy (Norma) Telles and Roy (Ali) Telles; grandchildren, Yari (Johnny) Tran, Sergio (Lynzi) Telles, Joel, David, Adrian, Sarah, and Anna Telles; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Vivienne Tran, and countless nieces and nephews. Also, her beloved neighbor Vico and Belinda Montes and family.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joel Telles, David Telles, Johnny Tran, Victor Montes, Andres Montes, and Tyler Cortez.

In lieu of flowers memorials honoring Tomasa Telles may be given to St. Jude’s Children Hospital of Catholic Charities.
