In Loving Memory of Terry Lee Mobley

October 18, 1952 – December 1, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend, Terry Lee Mobley, of Odessa, TX, who left this world peacefully on December 1, 2025.

Born on October 18, 1952, to James “Jack” and Dovie “Jill” Mobley, Terry grew into a man known for his kindness, steady presence, and deep love for his family. For 37 years, he proudly dedicated his time and talent to the Sewell Family of Dealerships, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who worked beside him.

For 23 beautiful years, he shared his life with his devoted wife, Sherrilyn, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the proud father of six children:

Amy Rouquette, Jennifer Hatfield, Ashlee Celenze, Eric Bartlett, Blake Little, and Kaleigh Miller.

His greatest joy came from being “Papa” to his 14 grandchildren, each of whom he cherished with all his heart:

Colt and Lilly Rouquette; Savannah and Sierra Hatfield; Asher, Annalee, and Angelina Celenze; Jacob and Jaxson Bartlett; Cooper and Hudsynn Little; Peyton, Lillyan, and Huxton Miller.

He wasn’t just Papa—he was their hero, their constant support, and the source of countless happy memories.

He is also survived by his six beloved sisters:

Ella Blackburn, Eva Schaefer, Madeline Presslar, Maryline Bigham, Jackie Zee, and Donna Creamer, along with many nieces and nephews who treasured his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Jack” and Iva Mobley, Dovie “Jill” Mobley, and his brother, James Eudell Mobley Jr.

Terry had a joyful sense of humor and a love of life, and those who loved him will forever smile remembering how he’d happily lick his dessert plate clean.

He will be remembered for his big heart, gentle nature, and the way he made every person feel valued and loved. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the family who will carry his memory forward with pride.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace, watching over us with the same love he gave so freely in life.
