Suzette Fuqua
Pradon
Feb 5, 1956 — Aug 31, 2026
Odessa, Texas
Suzette Fuqua Pradon, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1956, and lived a life that was anything but ordinary.
Suzette was truly unique. She was whimsical, imaginative, spunky, mischievous, and, above all, all-around fun. She had a personality all her own and a wonderful way of bringing laughter, adventure, and a little bit of mischief wherever she went. She was the kind of person who could turn an ordinary moment into a memory and who was never afraid to be completely herself.
On January 28, 1981, Suzette married the love of her life, Donald Pradon. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, adventures, and family. They welcomed their daughter, Mariah, in 1983, and their son, Barrett, in 1985. Suzette's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Her family was her heart, and she cherished the time she spent with them. Suzette loved adventure and enjoyed traveling to Italy and many other places, always finding joy in experiencing something new. She also found happiness close to home, especially in the outdoors, gardening, and spending time at the lake. She had a special love for animals and adored her cats, birds, and dogs, who were such an important part of her life. Suzette's life was a beautiful collection of adventures, laughter, family, animals, gardens, lake days, and countless stories that will be told for years to come. She had a way of making life more colorful simply by being in it.
Throughout her battle with cancer, Suzette showed courage and strength. While her family and friends deeply mourn her passing, they can also celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the extraordinary life she lived. She leaves behind a family who will carry her spirit forward—a little more spunky, a little more mischievous, a little more imaginative, and hopefully always ready for an adventure.Suzette will be deeply missed, but she will never be forgotten. Her laughter, her personality, her love of life, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
