Stanley Lynn Webber

Stanley Lynn Webber, 77, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, at Sunset Memorial in Odessa, Texas, with his son-in-law, Shane Kenney, officiating. Burial will follow immediately afterwards.

Stan was born in Hagerstown, Maryland to Curtis and Faye (Bower) Webber on April 11, 1948. He married the love of his life and best friend, Victoria (Hounshell) Webber, on July 15, 1967, at Grace Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and spent 27 years with Armco Inc. as a senior computer analyst. Stan was an award-winning computer artist, a gifted woodcarver, and even developed software used by the NFL and college football programs.

Stan gave his life to Christ at the age of 11 and remained a devoted follower of Jesus. He shared the hope of the Gospel with his wife, children, and grandchildren, and faithfully served in bus ministry, youth counseling, visitation teams, and prison ministry. He was a member of First Baptist Church Dunnellon in Florida before moving to Texas.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Faye Webber, and sister Deborah Lothes.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Victoria Webber; three children, Tonia Cassidy, Michael (Becky) Webber, and Natalie (Shane) Kenney; siblings, Fayetta (Bernie) Meierjohan, Curtis Webber Jr., and Clifton Webber; grandchildren, Christopher Cassidy, Victoria Kenney, Bailey (Philo) Rizk, Tristan (Cody) Hickel, and Brooke (Brad) Malott; great-grandchildren, Jack Rizk and Vivian Malott; and nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes donations in Stan’s memory to his favorite ministry: Permian Basin First Priority, P.O. Box 11221, Odessa, TX 79760.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Odessa Fire and Rescue for their timely arrival and compassion and to the Medical Center Hospital ER team for their skill and care, especially Nurse Teresa, who was truly a blessing.
