Ryan Willie
Granado
Jan 4, 1983 — Jul 28, 2026
Ryan Willie Granado passed away on, July 28, 2026, in his hometown of Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, also at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Gossett officiating.
Ryan was born on January 4, 1983, to Irene and Willie Granado. He went to school at Reagon Elementary, and Crockett Jr High, where he played percussion in band. He graduated from Odessa High School.
Ryan married Shawna Gossett on September 29, 2018, in Kerrville, TX. He worked at Purvis Industries for the better part of a decade as management and as a bearings specialist. Ryan was well known and respected throughout the oilfield industry.
He was an impressive and ever-growing carpenter and woodworker. Ryan never thought an idea was too outlandish or out of his reach. He would try and try again until he mastered whatever artform he was taking on, be it in the wood shop, the kitchen, or anywhere else.
Ryan loved offering a helping hand to anyone he could. His jokes were so terrible it made them the best. He was and is so very loved and missed by so many people.
Ryan is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Irene Milonar, along with many other loved ones. He is survived by his father, Willie Granado; his wife, Shawna Granado; his son, Cayden Elrod; his two brothers, Zeke Granado and Ivan Granado; along with two sisters-in-law, and all of his beautiful nieces and nephews, countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and their beautiful children; as well as so many friends that he definitely considered family.
