Ronald Eugene Burnett Jr passed away due to a long illness on the morning of Feb.9, 2026. Beloved son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. Ronnie was born to Ronald Eugene Burnett Sr. And B.J. Letbetter on May 29, 1959, in Albuquerque, NM. He spent his childhood years growing up in Albuquerque, NM with his Mom and Brother. later leaving Albuquerque and moving to Midland, Tx. to finish his high school. From there he moved to Vinton, LA, then to Colorado Springs, Colorado and back to Odessa, Tx. BJ married Michael Zimprich on March 17,1971 where the boys found a forever father. Ronnie and Greg always felt Mike loved us first before marrying our mother. We were all so thankful for him! Ronnie was blessed with 3 girls. He has 12 grandchildren as well as a niece and nephew. 

Ronnie is survived by his mother BJ Zimprich, father Michael Zimprich, brother Greg Burnett and his wife Kevin Ann, daughters Kammy, Calysta and Brooke and 12 grandchildren, niece Keely Gwyn and her husband Andy and Zachary Burnett and his wife Kendra and their children. 

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father Ronald Burnett Sr and wife Gayle Burnett, grandmother Ellen Kidd and grandfather John Kidd, grandmother Gwelda Toler and grandfather John Toler. 

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. 

Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to hunt, fish, go camping and an occasional round of golf. He loved to be around family and friends wherever that might be. He loved to get in the truck and take off not knowing where he was going or when he was coming home. He was an adventurer.
