Rodney Hardesty

Rodney Hardesty, 49, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Rodney Dean Hardesty was born in Farmington, New Mexico, to Troy Hardesty and Mary Goure on December 26, 1972.  He attended Redmond High School in Redmond, Washington.  He married Karey on September 29, 2001, and they had two beautiful children, Kaylee (18) and Rodney (RJ) Hardesty Jr. (16).  Rod was an Army veteran and proudly served his country for 12 years.  He was a very kind, loving soul who selflessly put others before himself.  He tirelessly worked to provide for his family and was an amazing husband and father.

Pallbearers will be David Rodriguez, Travis Hardesty, Art Laos, Jason Ahrendt, Jimmy Anderson and Justin Sizemore.
