Robert Charles Peterson

Robert Charles Peterson of Odessa was born on July 1, 1984, and his journey on earth ended April 6, 2024. 

Robert was born and raised in Odessa, TX to Missy Foote Peterson and Billy Peterson.

Robert was a proud Master Mason. He loved music and was known for his beats. He loved Wu-Tang. He also loved to paint. He was known for painting for nothing more than the cost of the paint. He loved going to the gun range with his dad. He enjoyed watching new episodes of The Chosen with his mom. He enjoyed receiving random, corny jokes from his sister. He had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to his herbs and succulents. His most favorite past time was spending time with his nieces, Adalynn, and Sophia. He and Adalynn shared a very special bond. You would hear them giggling because they were making funny videos on snap chat.

Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandparent’s R.B. and Peggy Peterson, Maternal grandparent’s Charles and Allene Foote, and maternal uncle Tory Foote.

He is survived by his mother, Missy Foote Peterson of Odessa; his father, Billy Peterson of Odessa; his sister, Mandy Fuentes and her husband Juan Fuentes of Odessa; as well as his nieces, Adalynn, and Sophia Fuentes. He is also survived by his cousin, Morgan Strimer and her husband Dustin of Florida; his aunt, Lori Stroud and her husband Bobby Stroud of Tampa, FL; his uncle, Jimmy Peterson of Rogers, AR; and his cousins, Stephanie Elliott, Stacie Peterson, and Steven Peterson all of Kansas. He is survived by many friends that are like family, Josh Jimenez, Chris Natividad, Robbie Justice, Randall Moore, Anthony Gonzales, Steven Williams, Ono Hernandez, and a host of other friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. 

A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cliff DeArmond officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s name to a mental health organization or a suicide prevention and awareness organization of your choice.
