Reba Fern Heard

Reba Fern Heard passed away on February 26, 2026, at 88 years of age in Odessa, Texas. Born to Jesse Willis Ward and Frances Ward on December 26, 1937.

She left a void her family cannot fill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters, her oldest son Ricky, her Husband John and daughter-in-law Jo Gray.

She is survived by two brothers Henry Ward and Norman Ward, her children, Rebecca Parks, Wanda Avary, and Dennis Gray; Seven grandkids, Vanessa, Ben, Jason, Cory, Jestin, Jarred, and Ara, thirteen great grandkids, Tennyson, Sawyer, Kylie, Stone, River, Violet, Everest, Hobbe, Ayva, Sofia, Breanna, Tory and Ryan.

She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother; Her family meant the world to her.

Her service will at Belmont Baptist Church, where she was a member, on Saturday, March 7th at 10am, lunch for the family to follow. Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 1pm on the same day.
