Ramon Hinojos

Ramon A. Hinojos, 90, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Odessa.

Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2023, from 6-8PM at Sunset Funeral home.

Rosary and Funeral services will be held at 10AM Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church with Fr. Frances of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church officiating. Arrangements are made by Sunset Funeral Home.

Ramon was born in Presidio, Texas, to Jose and Conception Amanso Hinojos on August 21, 1933. Ramon married Olivia Armendariz on August 8, 1957.  He worked as a Postal Worker for the United States Postal service for 50 years.  He was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and served in the Marines. 

Ramon is preceded in death by parents, Jose and Conception Hinojos; son-in-law, Richard Garza.

Ramon is survived by his wife, Olivia Hinojos; daughters, Carolina Keith and husband Ronny, Tiny Garza, Amanda Mahan and husband Michael; sons, Carlos Hinojos, Sean Brumley; grandchildren, Natalie Garza and husband Marcelino, Stephen Garza, Katie Garza and husband Kace, Samuel Mahan; great-grandchild, Knox Garza.

Pallbearers will be Michael Mahan, Stephen Garza, Marcelino Garza, Kace Garza, Xavier Rodriquez, and Robert Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Samuel Mahan and Ronny Keith.
