Peggy Jean Spruill

Peggy Jean Spruill, 84, of Odessa, Texas passed away on January 28, 2026 in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Peggy was born in Monahans, Texas to Homer and Louise McClung on July 25, 1941. She went to Fannin Elementary, Crockett Junior High, and graduated from Odessa High School. She was married to Earl Cornelison on December 2, 1960 and raised five daughters. She worked for Gulf Oil Company for several years. She later married the love of her life, Roy Dale Spruill, on June 23, 1995 and they shared life together until Roy's death in 2015.

Peggy is preceded in death by husband Roy Dale Spruill, sister Judy Gray, brother Michael McClung, grandson Justin Brown, and granddaughter Julia Roberson.

Peggy is survived by daughters Cynthia Branch, Earlene Lynch (Kevin), Mary Struck, Lisa Brown (Shane), and Amy Walker (Chad), sisters Martha McGill and Jane Mashburn, grandchildren Jena Morrill, Josh Burner, Kasondra Burleson, Jordan Lynch, Kimberlie Burnette, Aaron Smith, Brady Smith, Brazos Gonzales, Gunnar Walker, and Gabrielle Walker, step-grandsons Bobby Spruill, and Justin Spruill.
