Paula Olivares

Paula Galindo Olivares, of Odessa, passed away on January 11 in San Antonio, Tx.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on January 16th at Sunset Gardens and Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on January 17th at Sunset Gardens and Funeral Home with Filomeno Galindo of Midcities en Espanol, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Paula Olivares was born in Odessa, Tx to Filomeno and Martha Galindo on April 11th, 1969. She attended school in Odessa. She graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She achieved her Masters Degree in Education with a full time job and six children to care for. She worked as a classroom teacher for a quarter of a century and continued to excel in different capacities in the education field. She then resigned to serve Midcities Church full time in every possible way.

Paula Olivares is preceded in death by Simon Payen, Paula Prieto, Crispin Payen, Rafaela Payen, Bertha Olivares.

Paula Olivares is survived by children: Modesto Olivares, Bertha and Mike Franco, Diego and Diana Olivares, Jesus and Sariya Olivares, Pablo Olivares, and Carlos Olivares. Grandchildren: Victoria Mikaela Franco, Miguel Legend Franco, Dieguito Leonardo Olivares, Ariel Natalia Franco, Dario Leandro Olivares, Nio Leonel Olivares, Nael Paolo Olivares. Siblings: Catarino Galindo, Deyda Galindo, Rosa Galindo, Filomeno Galindo. Parents: Filomeno and Martha Galindo. Loved Ones: Jose Luis and Eva Olivares, Pepe Olivares, Ayana Olivares, Ivan Olivares, Joaquin Olivares.

Pallbearers will be Modesto Olivares, Bertha Franco, Mike Franco, Diego Olivares, Jesus Olivares, Pablo Olivares, Carlos Olivares, and Jose Olivares.
