Paul Michael Lewis

Paul Michael Lewis was born on July 26, 1979, in Detroit, Michigan to Minda and Dewey Lewis III. He was raised in Odessa, TX where he resided until his homecoming to Heaven on April 26, 2026.

A wake will be held in Paul’s honor at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6th, at the Sunset Memorial Chapel. Visitation will remain open until 8:00 PM.

Paul was a gentle soul, full of peace and joy for the simple things in life. Never one to complain about anything, he was accepting to whatever life brought his way. Despite his challenges, Paul was always kind, courteous, and grateful for anything and everything provided for him. He always ended his phone calls with a genuine ‘Love you...”. Paul wore a naturally contagious smile and would laugh often at anything to his amusement. He enjoyed music, car rides, and good food. Paul was a great example of how to live life with contentment, regardless of circumstances.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Minda Altland and Dewey Lewis III, and his stepmother Herminia Lewis.

Paul is survived by his brothers Joshua Lewis, and John Weishaar (and his family).

Paul will be laid to rest with his father, Dewey, and stepmother, Hermie, in the columbarium at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
