Particia Shackelford

Pat Shackelford went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, February 15, 2008, at her residence.

Pat was born August 7, 1944, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 1963. She worked for Williamson Well Service, Bates Well Service, Home Savings, and Gist Well Service in Andrews for many years.

She was Catholic. She was a very kind, giving and loving person, who will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Clyde and Naomi Dean Simpson.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Shackelford, children; Tonjua Metcalf and husband Jeff of Odessa, Angela Wilson and husband Bryne of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, James Drexler and wife Shannon, Steven Shackelford and wife Kim, Sheryl Coffman and husband Todd, all of Odessa, grandchildren; Jeffrey Metcalf, Rachel Metcalf, Jason Keneson, Zachary Keneson, Baylie Drexler, Alyson Drexler, Kelsey McKinzey, Trey Shackelford, Mark Coffman and Tanner Coffman, siblings; Clyde Simpson, Jr. of Kermit, Twana Simpson of Odessa, and Teresa Sayas of Abilene.

Rosary will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father Francis Frey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
