Nina Sledge

Nina B Sledge, of Odessa, passed away October 15, 2016 in Odessa, TX, after a brief illness.

Nina was born October10, 1924 to Herbert and Gertie Cate in Sweetwater, TX.

Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2016, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Nina was married to Leon Sledge for 70 years. She was a resident of Odessa for 50 years. Nina was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Sledge; son, Jimmy Sledge; brothers, Jack Cate, Irvin Cate, Foy Cate; sister, Wyno May Watson and granddaughter, Misty Hillis

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Sledge; grandsons, Michael Hillis and wife Linda, Sean Sledge; granddaughter,s Brinda Rollman and husband JR, Donna Bradshaw, Jennifer Connell and Linda Perkins; 12 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great, Great-Grandchildren.
