Nancy Lou Fisher, 87, of Odessa, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.
Nancy Lou (Bratton) Fisher was born in Moran, Texas to Etoile (Bankston) Bratton and Fletcher Bratton. She graduated from Moran High School and moved to West Texas in 1955. Nancy worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years and ultimately retired from JP Morgan Chase. She was a proud and active resident of Odessa for over 50 years. Nancy loved her town and was involved in many organizations including Beta Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Desk and Derrick Club. She was a member of the Eisenhower Church of Christ for over 50 years. Determined to remain active after retirement, Nancy volunteered her time and services to both her beloved church and Medical Center Health Systems. Nancy was known for her impeccable appearance, baking abilities and custom greeting cards. She will be missed dearly by the many people who had the opportunity to spend time with her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, Etoile Bratton; father, Fletcher Bratton; son, Louis Fisher; two sisters, Martha Balliew and Jane Burroughs and three nephews, Tommy, Joey and James Latimer.
She is survived by her son, Russell Fisher and wife, Lisa of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Taylor Fisher and Peyton Fisher of Denver, Colorado; two nieces, Glenda Summers of Liberty Hill, Texas and Candy Dunn of Flower Mound, Texas and nephew, Jeff Latimer of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at the Eisenhower Church of Christ with Allen Weakland officiating. Burial services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
