Michel "Mike" Ray Glenn

Michel “Mike” Glenn, 75, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2025.

Mike was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1950. He met the love of his life, Cheryl Mayfield, and the two were married on March 30, 1972. Mike spent more than 30 years working as a plant operator at El Paso Products before continuing his career as an oilfield pumper with Endeavor.

A devoted early riser, Mike cherished the quiet beauty of each new day. His favorite moments on the job were arriving before sunrise, watching the dawn break, and checking on the local wildlife that God placed in his path.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his parents, Virginia and Austion Glenn; and his dear mother-in-law, Leone Mayfield. He is survived by his son, Chris Glenn; daughter, Tami Glenn; and granddaughter, Madi Glenn.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Interim Hospice, Buena Vida Nursing Home, Midland Hospice, Enhabit Home Health, and the many others who cared for Mike with compassion over the past several years.
