Michael Mangum

Michael Joe Mangum, age 64, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Mike was born on April 25, 1958, in Odessa, Texas, to Joe Wiley Mangum. He graduated from Permian High School in 1976. Mike was a machinist his entire career and proud of it.

Mike was preceded in death by grandparents W.E. and Mavis Mangum and his father Joe Wiley Mangum of Odessa.

He is survived by siblings, Julie Latham of Boerne, Texas, and Sammy Mangum of Canyon Lake, Texas; the mother to his children, Judy Blackburn of Canyon Lake, Texas; daughter DeAnna Hayes of Baird, Texas; and son, Joe Michael Mangum and wife Amanda of Bulverde, Texas.

Five grandchildren that he adored, Cheyenne Hayes of Odessa, Texas, Gregory Hayes of Monahans, Texas, Alex Michael Hayes of Monahans, Texas, Abigayle Mangum of Bulverde, Texas, and Michael Joe Mangum of Bulverde, Texas.
