Marsha "Venna" Giesler

Marsha Venna Giesler, age 90 of Odessa, TX., passed away at her home September 20, 2021, with family by her side.

Memorial Services will be held at 3pm, Friday, September 24, 2021, at the chapel of Sunset Funeral Home.  Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell will officiate.

Venna was born on February 6, 1931, to the late Marshall Jones and Bertha Ann (Goble) Kelly in Cottonwood, TX.

Venna was a member of Central Baptist Church.  She very much enjoyed working in her yard and was praised by her family as being a great cook.  She also had a daycare business that was in her home for 15+ years.Venna married Harold Loyd Giesler in June 1950 in Sweetwater, TX.  He preceded her in death in 1990.  Also preceding her in death were sisters; Opal Hutcheison, Betty Smith, and Jean Thomas.

Venna is survived by her children; Harold Dean Giesler and wife Paula and Marsha Coplen, grandchildren; Jonathan Giesler, Heather White and husband Larry, and Tye Coplen; and great granddaughter, Kayle Thomason.

Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
