Margaret Joan Ward

Margaret Joan Ward, 1929-2024, passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 94. Born in Abilene, Tx and spent most of her life in Odessa and Kingsland. 

Joan is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charlie Roy Ward; and her siblings, Doris Crabtree, George Sinclair, Dick Sinclair and William Sinclair. 

Joan is survived by her children, George Ward, Alan Ward and Suzy Hickerson; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. 

Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and caregiver. She never met a stranger and never turned away someone in need. She lived for her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 26, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas with Pastor Lyndel Lee Officiating.
