Margaret Jean Lambright

Margaret Jean Lambright, 77, of Odessa, TX, passed away on May 30, 2024.

Margaret was born on November 13,1946 to IW and Virginia Brown in Miami, AZ. She graduated from Permian High School in 1965. On July 23, 1965, she married the love of her life, Roland. Margaret and Roland went on to have 3 daughters, Cindy, Sheila and Sherrie. She was a homemaker until her children were grown. She worked for Target for 10 years before retiring. Margaret loved her family with all her heart. She would give you her last penny or a place to stay if you needed it. She made sure she was present for every milestone in her family’s life, she didn’t want to miss anything. She made time to listen to anyone who wanted to talk. She loved visits from her family till the end and fought a good fight.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Roland, her parents IW and Virginia Brown and her sister Shirley Foster.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Lambright of Odessa, Sheila Hunt and husband Todd of Odessa, and Sherrie Battaglia and husband Marc of Lubbock; her grandchildren, Shawn Lambright and wife Nikki, Stephen Lambright, Ashley Brookshire and husband Zach, Chelsea Pyron and husband Colby, Joshua Hunt and wife Madison, and Makenzie Hunt; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Lambright, Paul Lambright, Dakota Lambright, Cason Pyron, Cady Pyron and soon to be here baby Hunt; her sister Faye Waddell of Midland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Shawn Lambright, Stephen Lambright, Josh Hunt, Paul Lambright, Zach Brookshire and Colby Pyron. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Brayden Sullivan.

Visitation with the family will be Monday June 3, 2024, 6pm-8pm at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Tuesday June 4, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Donny Rilley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
