Lessie Sandell

Lessie Lenora Sandell 85 of Midland went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.

She was born on January 29, 1923 to Charlie and Lora Jean Houston in Midland Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was an active member of Naomi Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband A.J. Sandell Jr. She is survived by her children, Nancy Allman of Abilene, Sherry and Kenneth Schuepbach of Odessa and Billy Jay Sandell of Trinity, five grandsons, Steve and Kimberly Allman of Wiley Texas, Darren and Susan Allman of Odessa, David and Edda Allman of Abilene, Chad Sandell of Odessa and Matthew Schuepbach of Odessa, five great-grandchildren, Canyon and Eli Allman, Michael, Emily Elizabeth and Abigail Allman.

The family wishes to express appreciation to her caregivers from Home Hospice of Odessa. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to Home Hospice of Odessa.

Visitation will be held Friday March 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday March 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
