Leah Diane Cicio, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend left this world on February 22, 2015 for a perfect home in heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donnie Williams of The Bridge officiating. A visitation with the family will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Friday evening, February 27, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Leah Cicio was born in Odessa, TX to Robert Cicio and Sally Cicio Osborn on September 22, 1979. She went to school at Burnet Elementary, Bonham Junior High School and Permian High School. Her extracurricular activities included gymnastics, art, choir, piano, tennis, soccer, FUMC youth and mission trips. She graduated from McMurry University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Ceramics, minoring in Graphic Arts and was a member of Delta Beta. She received her teaching certification through We Teach Texas. She taught seventh through ninth grade at Crockett Junior High from 2005 through 2012. She was currently teaching her third year of elementary art education at Milam Fine Arts Academy. She was a passionate teacher who cared deeply for all her students. She started the Art Club at Crockett; participated with the Crockett AVID site team; was an integral part of fundraisers for various educational endeavors; and was currently working on the 2015 Milam yearbook. She loved art and sharing art with others. One of her favorite activities was painting with friends for Wine and Canvas. Her family and friends were very dear to her heart and she also adored her sweet little dog, Lily. She was a member of The Bridge, a satellite campus of First United Methodist Church.

Leah is preceded in death by her father, Robert Cicio, her step-father, Jim Osborn, her half-sister, Lydia Osborn, her grandfather, Chick Cicio, her maternal grandparents, Jack and Mildred Cunningham and her Uncles, David Osborn and Michael Cline.

Leah is survived by her mother, Sally Osborn; her brother, Kevin Cicio; her sisters, Emily and Claire Osborn; her step-brother, Jim Osborn; grandmother, Jennie Cicio; aunts and uncles ,Chris and David Obenauer, Diana Cline, Lynn and Hans Ruehl, Teri Frytz, Rhonda Osborn and Judy Osborn; cousins, Amy, Josh, Kate and Abby McGee, Michael Cline, Gerhard, Laura, Patrick, Michael and Dominic Ruehl, Claudia, Erik and Caroline White, Carl Frytz, Ray Osborn, Mark and Mandi Coxwell; nephew Jimmy Osborn; and special friend Jason and his daughter, Hannah.

Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Cicio and L.C. Ward.

Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Youth Group and Ellen Noel Art Museum Education Fund.

The family of Leah Cicio wishes to extend our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Leah's special mentors Linda Strickland from McMurry, Tamara Smith from Crockett, and Susan Allison, Marianne Lee, Stephanie Clark and Karen Roe from Milam.
