Larry Arnold Rodriguez of Odessa, TX passed away peacefully July 23, 2026 surrounded by family in Odessa at Medical Center Hospital.

Larry was born in Odessa, TX to Arnold and Emma White Rodriguez on July 6, 1959. He was a graduate of Permian High School. He was a lifelong mechanic in the pumping and fracking business. He was an avid gun collector, car enthusiast and golf lover.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Emma Rodriguez; baby brother Tommy; grandparents Dan and Isabelle White; Manuela and Felipe Rodriguez; several aunts and uncles and cousin David Garza.

Larry is survived by his children Amanda (Michael) Smith of Odessa and Matthew "Chase" (Courtney) Ward Justin, TX; girlfriend Brenda Dominguez of Odessa; sister MaryAnn Rodriguez of Odessa and nephew Cory Chavez; and grandchildren MJ and Emmalyn Smith, Chase and Peyton Ward. Loved ones Celeste, Pitreece and Russell, Lovey and OzzyBear.

Honorary Pallbearers: MJ Smith, Chase and Peyton Ward, Zevonn, Issac, Ethan and Keem Chavez.

Memorial services entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Monday July 27, 2026 at 2pm.
