Larry Lynn Davis, a devoted servant of the Lord, a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather, went home to be with his Savior on September 29, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with chronic illness. He was 59 years old.
He was born on March 15, 1965 to Carl and Barbara Davis and graduated from OHS in 1983. He married the love of his life, Marnie Kindel Davis on August 2, 1986. He worked at Vista Sales and Services for 28 years.
Larry was a man of deep faith and a steadfast believer in Christ. His life was a testament to his love for God, and his heart was full of kindness, humility, and compassion for all who knew him. Throughout his illness, his unwavering faith and trust in the Lord gave him strength and hope, serving as an inspiration to his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marnie, his two sons, Trent Davis, wife Amber Davis and Troy Davis and his cherished twin grandchildren, Addison and Dawson Davis, who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Allison, husband Dick Allison and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. His family was his pride, and his legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Davis and grandparents Carl A. & Mabel Davis and Rayford & Betty Ziegler.
Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and suffering. We take comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that we will be reunited with him one day in God’s kingdom.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Tuesday Oct 1 from 5-8 PM and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday Oct 2 at 10 AM in the chapel at Sunset with Bro.
