Kisa Kay Lee

It is with great sadness that the family of the “Worlds Greatest Mimi” Kisa K. Lee announces her passing on Friday, August 22, 2025. 

Kisa was born in Odessa, TX, on February 5, 1964. She graduated from Permian High School in 1982. In 1988 she started a new job and met the love of her life while working there. On February 17, 1990, Kisa wed Chuck Lee, and they have been happily married just shy of 36 years. They raised 3 Sons together who are all now grown men with wives and families of their own. There are 4 granddaughters, Payton, Braidlynn, Emerson and Bristol and 3 grandsons, Takota, Kendon, and Legend. Kisa loved all her Grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with them all. Kisa was a longtime employee of Ector County School District. She worked in administration as a secretary for the Principal at Odessa High and then moved over to OC Techs taking on the same role. She loved her work and the people that she worked with daily, many of them who are still her close friends. Around 2 years ago she started having some health issues that were making it hard for her to continue to work. Sadly, this never became possible over the years her health continues to decline. 

Kisa was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Deana King, and her in laws Claude and Sandra Lee. 

She is survived by her husband Chuck Lee, son Kendahl Lee and his wife Shannon, their children Payton, Emerson and Kendon, all of Odessa, son Dillyn Lee and his wife Paige, their children Takota, Braidlynn, Bristol, and Legend, all of Odessa, Logan Lee and his wife Kenna of Denver, Colorado, and her brother Ty King of McKinney, Tx. 

Funeral arrangements have been set up at Sunset Memorial Gardens with visitation on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6 to 7:30pm. There will be a Memorial Service at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2pm. The Memorial Service will be officiated by Jimmy Braswell.
