Karen Kay Squiers, 59, of Odessa, passed away on November 22, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2020, at New Life Church in Odessa with Tim Halstead and Clark Racca officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Karen was born in Pampa, Texas, to Jean and Russell Johnston on October 17, 1961. She went to school in Odessa, Texas, and graduated from Odessa High School in 1980. She married Wayne Squiers July 17, 1982. Karen worked at Southwest Bank for the past 7 years. She was involved in the Women’s Ministry at New Life Church.

Karen is survived by her husband, Wayne; her children, Morgan Echols and her husband Josh Echols, Corry Squiers, Meagan Squiers, and Chelsey Squiers; one grandson, Jagger Echols; two sisters, Judy Shields and husband Doug Shields, Julie Johnston; two brothers, Bobby Johnston, and David Johnston and wife Elaine; brother-in-law, James Squiers and wife Emmie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cory Bynum, Todd Mahan, Wade Bennington, Doug Shields, Kent Arrington, and Blake Batte.

The Family of Karen Squiers wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors of Downtown Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, New Life Church, Vandever Life Group, Southwest Bank, and the many prayer warriors that have carried us through this time.
