Judith Irene Means, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas with Donnie Williams, the pastor of The Bridge in Odessa, officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Judy was born in Tallant, Oklahoma on September 23, 1944 to her parents, Maymie and Clarence Means. Judy moved to Odessa, Texas and attended Permian High School graduating in 1962. She went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a Bachelor’s in Spanish and Education. Judy was a school teacher in Pasadena, Texas and Lubbock, Texas, and abroad. When she moved back to Odessa, Texas she became the Office Manager for West Texas Insurance Exchange.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Maymie and Clarence Means.
Judy is survived by her sister Mary Rea, her niece and nephew, their spouses, and their children.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Freeman, Jefferey Rea, Collin Freeman, Parker Freeman, Denton Rea, and Jon Brewer.
Memorials may be given to Generations Church, Ardmore, Oklahoma, to the Missions Funds.
