Josephina Martinez Miron, 67, of Fort Stockton, passed away on June 28, 2026, in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be July 1, 2026, from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Sunset Memorial gardens and Funeral Home. Rosary service will be from 7:00PM-8:00PM.

A funeral service will be held on July 2, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, with burial to follow at the same location.

Josephina was born in Fort Stockton to Albino and Manuela Martinez on February 17, 1959. She went to school and graduated from Fort Stockton High School. She was married to Manuel Miron for 38 years. She loved spending time with her family, her dogs, and listening to music, and almost always had a smile on her face.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel Miron; her son, Emmanuel Miron of Odessa, TX; her daughters, Jolynn Miron of Odessa, TX, and Angelisa Fierro of Odessa, TX; her brother, Alfredo Martinez and wife Anita of Fort Stockton; her sisters, Rosa Soto of Big Lake, TX and Alberta Garcia and husband Angel of Midland, TX; her grandchildren, Mercedes Zubiate, Valerie Zubiate, Juan Fierro, Destiny Martinez, and Jolina Miron, all of Odessa, TX.

Josephina is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Arturo Martinez, Albino Martinez Jr., and Emilio Martinez, as well as her sisters, Elvira Sotelo, Carolina Agundiz.
