Jonathan Andrew Ramos

November 19, 1992 — October 31, 2025

Odessa, Texas

Jonathan Andrew Ramos, 32, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on November 19, 1992, in Odessa, where he spent most of his life surrounded by family, friends, and the music that became the rhythm of his soul.

Jonathan had a heart that felt everything deeply. Love, laughter, and sometimes pain. From a young age, it was clear he was gifted beyond measure. Whether it was music, sports, or anything he set his mind to, Jonathan gave it his all. Behind the drum set, he was unstoppable, the heartbeat of every song and every room. Drumming wasn’t just something he did; it was who he was. It was how he spoke when words weren’t enough.

He loved the Duke Blue Devils, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Stars with a passion only he could bring. He knew every stat, every play, every detail because Jonathan remembered everything. He was the family historian, the storyteller, the one who could make you laugh just by bringing up an old memory you had long forgotten.

Jonathan was the baby of the family, but he carried a wisdom and tenderness that grounded everyone around him. He was the glue that held everyone close. He called every day, not out of routine but out of love. He needed to know everyone was okay, and he needed you to know that he cared. He adored his niece and nephews, and they adored their Tio Jon with that same fierce, unconditional love.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Hermosillo, and her husband, Bivian Hermosillo; his father, Roy Ramos; his sister, Erika Craig and husband, Jeremy, and their children, Emily and Aiden; and his brother, Roy Zachary Ramos and wife, Chrissy, and their children, Ryan and Andrew.

Pallbearers are Frank Mijares, Ruben Perez, Adam Fuentes, Spencer Carrasco, Milky Cervera, and Buzzy Abalos.

He was welcomed into Heaven by loved ones who went before him. Though his faith journey had its struggles, Jonathan left this world with his heart turned toward God, finding the peace, healing, and light that his soul longed for.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary from 6:00–8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by the burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Jonathan’s rhythm will live on in the music he loved, in the laughter of his family, and in the countless hearts he touched just by being himself.

“The beat goes on, and your song plays forever in us.” 🤍
